I’ve decided to start sharing our weekly menu!

I know when I first started meal planning for our family I had a difficult time coming up with recipes to make so I thought this might help someone come up with dinner options for their family.

This week I’m trying a few new recipes along with some tried and trues!

I will link the new recipes below the menu and the others I’ll be working on step by step recipes to share next week!

Grocery Bill Break down

This week’s grocery bill was 146.59, which included a few baking items I’m running low on, cleaning products, and toiletry items. I don’t buy sodas or drinks, and other than lunch box items, I do not buy processed snacks or desserts very often! ( We drink coffee, sweet tea, or water in case you were curious!)

So for the week, we are roughly eating for about $20.94 A DAY! That includes 3 meals plus any baked goods I whip up for a family of 5!

That comes out to $1.40 a person per meal!!!

Again, that is an overall average of the entire grocery bill not based on the recipe ingredients alone!

Pretty good right!!

Take Note…

I don’t have to buy some of the seasonings and condiments the recipes call for because I have them on hand already.

Once you begin to cook consistently you will stock your pantry with items that can be used over and over!

I hope these weekly menu planning post are useful for you! If you have any questions or requests leave me a comment!!
