Stovetop Potpourri Recipe
A few fresh all natural ingredients simmering gently over the stove fills the house with all the beautiful smells of fall!
As I sit here writing this post I’m enjoying the smells of this fragrant stovetop potpourri! I thought I’d put a batch on to motivate me to pick up the house, but here I am, blogging in bliss instead!
Fall scents are my absolute favorite smells! There is nothing better than opening the door of your home and being greeted with an aroma that warms the heart. Thanksgiving is one of my all time favorite holidays so it gets me excited for pumpkin pies and grandma’s famous dressing!
On days I know we won’t be leaving the house much, or when we have guests coming over, I love whipping this up.
Miniature mandarin oranges stay stocked at our house. They are the perfect snack, look beautiful in a bowl, and I can use them for this delicious stovetop potpourri! Mixed with a little fresh rosemary from my flowerbeds, orange essential oil, cinnamon, and a dash of vanilla this pot makes the best aroma!
Plus this recipe is all natural and you can breathe easily {literally} knowing your family isn’t being exposed to harsh chemicals just for the sake of a beautiful smelling air freshner!
I hope you enjoyed this stovetop potpourri recipe! Have you ever tried something similar? I’d love to know in the comments!
