My go to organization tips and tricks for traveling in a small space.

Camping with 5 peeps and two dogs can get chaotic! Here are my top 10 products that make my life so much easier on the road.

Kitchen organizational hanging rack

#1 Ikea Hanging rack

This was the perfect addition to my wittle bitty camper! I loved the first one so much I ordered another one in black to hang next to my fridge. Of course, I purchased the hooks and the storage bins to go along with!

My camper has very limited cabinet space so I need a solution to store items that were easily accessible but out of the way. I use these racks to hang coffee mugs, cooking utensils, produce bags and more!

Mesh bags

#2 Ikea Mesh Produce Bags

These are the produce bags I hang from my racks above. Having a spot to put my produce other than counter tops is an absolute must!

refrigerator organizers filled with drinks and snacks.

#2 Fridge Organizers

We learned the hard way the first few trips we went on. We have a regular fridge in our camper that has a latch versus the self locking fridges most campers come with. The latch does not secure the door shut and our food would shift or jam our door.

These bins made all the difference. They contain everything nicely and make packing and unpacking so much easier!!!

gold paper towel holder

#4 Under Cabinet Paper Towel Holder

No counter space means finding ways to get things up and out of the way! Love this functional and trendy paper towel holder.

black command strip hooks

#5 Command Hooks

These little hooks are perfect for dog leashes, keys, hats, and jackets. The best part is that you don’t have to put holes in your camper walls.

I have a couple of these scatter around the camper and they come in super handy.

Baskey tray

#6 Wooven Serving Tray

I keep this serving tray on our little dinette table to hold a bowl of fruit and as a catch all for all the miscellaneous items that pile up. It never fails random items like wallets, loose change, ect, clutter up valuable counter space.

The tray is extra handy because I can just pick it up and place over the sink when it’s time to transition the table into a bed.

#7 Baskets

Baskets are my functional, but esthetically pleasing to the eye, organizing go-tos!

I keep a small one like the basket above next to the camper door where we house the flash light, leveler, and doggy potty bags.

two narrow baskets

I keep a narrow basket on the counter next to the stove for snacks for the kids… and husband. This keeps wondering hands from rummaging through storage compartments and cabinets.

#8 Collapsible Laundry Basket

Anything with the word collapsible makes camper living so much easier! I love this basket because it collapses flat and stows away so easy when it’s not in use.

This basket comes in handy when I have to got to the laundry mat but also helps me store things while we are in travel.

clothes hamper

I also keep a collapsible clothing hamper to help manage 5 peoples dirty laundry. I store in the shower when it’s not in use. Makes it easy to lug to the laundry mat or back in the house when needed!

corner shower shelf

#9 Tension Rod Corner Shelf

I had to get a little creative for storage in our extra tiny bathroom. We have zero storage so this tension corner shelf saved the day.

I can store all our hygiene products in one place and makes it easier to reach while taking a shower.

clothing organizer

#10 Clothing Organizers

Everyone in our family gets one of these bins plus a narrower one for all their clothes. We have two really deep drawers so we are able to line the inside with everyones clothing bins. The large bins are for tops and bottoms and the narrow bins store underwear and socks.

I do my best to keep the kids from ripping through things and making a bigger mess.

Traveling is suppose to be fun and relaxing! I hope these products help you manage the chaos  when traveling with a crowd.
