Fall Printable

Growing up the holidays were always such a special time. No matter how small the holiday, my family made it memorable with little treats and traditions we looked forward to every year! I believe family traditions and holidays are what makes childhood so magical.

I’ve been seeing those cute t-shirts with the fall inspired checklists everywhere! I thought it would be fun to make an oversized list to hang in the house so the kids could check off all the fun traditions as we do them.

My daughter is the most excited about this new little fall feature. She’s ready to check off as many as she can. I made sure the list included all of our typical fall traditions with the addition of few new ones I thought would be fun!

We live in a small house so I’m always trying to get creative with decor that can be interchangeable and not require a lot of space.

This fun checklist cost under $8 dollars to print, so I figure I’d make one for each new season. When the holidays are over I’ll print out a beautiful saying to take its place.

I’m thrilled with how everything turned out. It’s better than I envisioned! The frame cost around $20 to make but well worth it since I can switch out the artwork whenever I want!

To learn how to make this cute magnetic wooden frame head over to The Merrythought. I was too excited to get this hung up and I completely forgot to take pictures… whoops!

But here are a few tips…

1. I had all my wood cut down at Home Depot so I didn’t have to mess with it at home. Just find an associate in the area and they’ll take care of you!! Easy as that!!

2. I went one inch larger than my print. So I ended up cutting my strips 37 inches long.

3. I purchased magnets from Home Depot but they are cheaper HERE on amazon. Again… I was too impatient to wait for prime. You’ll need really strong magnets not the typical ones used for crafts. This will be the most expensive part of the project.

4. BEFORE YOU GLUE YOUR MAGNETS DOWN MAKE SURE THEY ARE FACING THE RIGHT DIRECTION. If they aren’t facing the correct direction they won’t stick together …. don’t ask me how many times I had to rip off and re-glue! That’s what I get for being in a hurry.

How To Print Your Checklist

You will want to order your print online through Staples. It will take about a day depending on what time you order.

  • Go to the printing service section.
  • Look for blueprint printing.
  • Choose the size you want and upload your document!
